This is a Matthew Christopher TWYLA Gown from the 2015 collection. I wanted a winter wonderland style dress and as soon as I saw it, I fell in love. It has a beautiful heart shape bodice with vine pattern and beading. The skirt has several asymmetric layers of glimmer tulle swath from side to side over the vine-like embroidered lace and sequin material. Pearl and crystal buttons align along the back to the natural waist add the finishing touches with a chapel length train. The back zips up so you don't have to worry about the hassle of the buttons. The bustle is already built into the dress.
This dress, although it has many details, is not too over the top. Another plus, I am very petite, but this dress was very easy for me to maneuver and move around in. I didn't want to take it off I was so in love.
Lining: Champagne, Off White, Deep Ivory, Mocha, Lace, Tulle, Sequin
Overall: Champagne / Off White
I only wore this dress on my wedding day which was indoors (it did not get snowed on or rained on). I did not get it dry cleaned after the wedding, so it just has the normal wear of the one use. It has two very very small imperfections in the asymmetrical tulle part, however you really must dig in to see them (I found during fittings). They are not visible during regular wear. Please see pictures attached.
